Ayesha Takia

Ayesha Takia Azmi is acting in Hindi movies since 1986. Ayesha was awarded the Filmfare's Best Debut Award in 2004 due to her role as the lead character for the film Taarzan The Wonder Car. This was her acting debut. Her subsequent appearances included Paathshaala (2009) Wanted (2010) Salaam-E-Ishq (2007, 2008) as well as Socha Na Tha (2010). The first commercial she starred in was Complan which is a popular drink to improve health. In the iconic I'm A Complan Boy, I'm a Complan Girl commercial, she appeared alongside Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor. The singer also performed in the remix for Nahin Nahin Abhi Nahin. Thanks to the success of this song it brought her to the forefront in the Indian remix era. It was at this point that she began to receive invitations to play in Bollywood film productions. Takia is supposed to appear in Socha Na Tha due to production delays, was only made aware of Taarzan after her debut.
